We only had the chance to stay at this ultra modern hotel during our 14th wedding anniversary last November 2015. Me and my husband had a staycation and we truly enjoyed our stay.
The front desk was very courteous and the check in was fast. I indicated on our booking that we are celebrating our wedding anniversary but we did not expect a complimentary gift that had soon arrived in our room. It was a nice little gesture.
We also had a welcome drink for two where we claim in the sports / lounge bar. While sipping our drinks, we tried playing billiards for (only) $2 a game which is cool! We have never played billiards in a gazillion years and we had fun.
I am a sucker for aromatherapy, oils and herbs, and getting a complimentary gently-scented room mist was a treat. The high quality sheets, linens, pillows and the sleep mist really made our slumber an indulging hours of restful heaven. If only we could have all these, in all of our nights.
I love the modern design of our room, it was clean and truly comfortable. The room was surprisingly very spacious which is not common in Singapore hotels. The room, its amenities and hotel facilities are clean and well-maintained.
There are cable TV but most of them are news-oriented channels and only two movie channels, but maybe just enough if you are a business traveler.
We have a lovely tub in our clean and spacious bath room. You can see the TV and bed through the glass walls of the bath room.
The following morning, we tried swimming at the outdoor pool. The pool was clean and nice for a morning lap. Not much of the guests were using the pool, so we practically had the pool by ourselves. Clean towels are also provided in the pool area.
The breakfast buffet is nothing exceptional but okay. They have simple international breakfast choices, fresh fruits, the usual egg station, and some local selections too like Chinese noodles and porridge. I indulge with some greens, pastrami and cheese.
Our check in and check out was quick. The service was superb. While a bit costly, overall, we would recommended checking in at Crowne Plaza Changi Airport, particularly to those with young kids or elderly as it has direct access to the airport (terminal 3).
