5-Minute Chili Garlic Shrimp

I have some frozen shrimp left in the fridge from last weekend’s Seafood Marinara dish, so what I did was to create a quick Chili Garlic Shrimp for our dinner. The ingredients aside from the shrimp? A little bit of everything I have in my kitchen… exciting lah! :P

Ingredients:
shrimp, peeled with tails on
red and green fresh chilis, cut into pieces
1 garlic clove, crushed
1 lemon, zested and juiced

Heat your pan in medium to high heat, add olive oil. Toss garlic, shrimp and chilis. Add the lemon zest and juice, a few drops of soy sauce, some tomato sauce, some chili oil and leftover pancake syrup (or use honey). Cook the shrimp forΒ aboutΒ 2-3 minutes or until pink. Transfer your easy-peasy masterpiece on a lovely serving dish and your done.
